I had no idea I was going to be eating dinner with the cool crowd last night! I knew I had been invited to a blogger dinner at Audubon Circle. I knew I forgot my camera at home like a fool (my boyfriend lovingly dropped it off at the restaurant for me.)

But, look!

I had to pinch myself a couple times at dinner, as I looked at the all familiar blogger faces I have come to adore sitting at the same dining table as me!

Food to Run For

It was so much fun to eat with a group of food bloggers because we all understand the food photography protocol: photos first, eat later.

We tried almost everything on the menu (check out their menu online here!)

Appetizers: white bean hummus, steamed dumplings, heirloom tomato salad, cheese board, and more.

Cocktails…

And plate upon plate of entrées: ham sammies, BBQ chicken, pork schnitzel, lobster roll… seriously, just check out their menu, we ate it all.

Plus, oreo goat cheese cheesecake for dessert! Remember that time I went through a brick of goat cheese in a weekend? I do.

I’ll tell you, being a food blogger has its perks. I left the restaurant feeling a little bit cooler and a lot more full. Thanks again Jayne, for the invite!

I love Audubon Circle– used to live right down the road and still dream of their tomato and roasted red pepper soup.
