Foodie Pen Pal: March
Who else is ready to kiss March goodbye?
The saying about this month is that it goes in like a lion, out like a lamb. But in reality, the month started like a lamb, morphed briefly into a sun-bathing seal, and is going out like a lion cub. Not quite the same effect.
As another month comes to a close, it is time to share my Foodie Pen Pal recap. This month’s match-ups were Jen and Ziggy of the Crazy Cooking couple and Lindsay of the Lean Green Bean Blog! Yes, I got to mail a box to the head honcho! Read all about what I sent in her post.
Here is what I got:
Two packages of dried fruit
Orange ginger chews (I’m a little worried about these to be truthful.)
Pretty sweet, right? Thanks, Jen and Ziggy!
I love how this exchange fills the corners of my pantry with things I’d never normally buy. It keeps things interesting! Like the tomatillo salsa Caitlin sent last month – that was a new-to-me product I wanted to try. We started using the salsa on nachos, then on tacos, and now we are hooked!
That said, I won’t be participating in the exchange next month because I don’t have much time for blogging. Care to fill my spot? Contact Lindsay to join!
