When I started blogging in 2010, I quickly formed habits related to food and photography. Whenever I make a plate of food, I take a picture before eating it. I almost always have a camera with me when I go out to eat.
The result: I wind up with a lot of pictures of food. [...]
This post is going to be really cheesy.
One of my college girlfriends was visiting from the West coast, so I had a few people over for dinner last weekend. I planned a grilled cheese sandwich bar where everyone could construct their own sammies and I grilled them all on the griddle.

I’m back for another round of Missed Meals – a post where I highlight meals that missed being mentioned on the blog until now.
I have said in the past that dinner inspiration is not my strength, so most weeknight meals are rarely memorable. If a plate of food happens to look good, [...]
Here are some carrots.
See? I eat vegetables. I also eat bread, meat, and cheese from time to time. I buy lettuce and it doesn’t always wilt to death in the crisper. But, you wouldn’t know that by looking at my blog lately. All I see is sugar, chocolate, or

We recently made a trip to Super 88, the nearby Asian supermarket. It is a grocery destination for those seeking good prices and a wide variety of exotic ingredients.
I had a grocery list of about ten items for this haul, but the #1 item was Star Anise.

You haven’t missed much around here.
There’s been a lot of work and a little play, and I think Jelly is starting to feel bored.
The most exciting news in his neck of the woods is the arrival of Justin’s new computer mouse. He loves it. It has his feline stamp [...]
