Good morning, cookie monsters. I have a treat for you. It is part cookie, part muffin, and totally worth turning the oven on (unless you live in Kansas.) Adding the banana allowed me to cut out half the butter I normally put into cookies. That means I can eat twice as many.

I love oats. This is not new news. I try to put oats into everything I bake, and usually the recipe turns out better because of it. Oats add nutritional value to baked goods that would normally consist mostly fat and sugar. My waistline appreciates this.
